After 28 years as an artist in screen printing and illustration, I have found a new kind of creative peace in clay. Working with my hands has become a quiet companion through grief, a space where I can create and process freely, without worrying about outcomes. Rolling out slabs of clay, making marks, and letting go of perfection has become my therapy.

Each piece I make feels like a small celebration of life, of time passing, and of the hope that still lingers ahead.

I never set out to sell these creations, but as they began to fill my shelves, I realized I needed a way to sustain the practice. That’s how House Badge was born.
